1. Who we are
Quayside Peri Peri ("we", "us") is an independent restaurant at 79 Southgate Street, Gloucester GL1 1UB. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website.
2. What we collect
When you create an account or place an order we collect your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and order history. If you contact us we keep your message and contact details. We do not store payment card numbers — payment is handled by our payment provider at the time of checkout.
3. How we use your data
We use your data to process and deliver orders, manage your account, respond to enquiries, and meet our legal obligations (for example food safety and accounting). We may send occasional service messages about your orders, never marketing spam unless you opt in.
4. Legal basis
We process order data under contract (to fulfil your order), account data under legitimate interest (to keep your account working), and with your consent where we ask for it. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing
We share your name, address and phone number with our delivery riders solely to deliver your order. We never sell your data. We use a hosted database provider to store data securely within the UK/EU.
6. Retention
Account and order records are kept for as long as your account is active, plus the periods required by tax law. Contact messages are kept for 12 months.
7. Your rights
You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Email quaysideperiperigloucester@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use a strictly necessary cookie for keeping you signed in (an HTTP-only session cookie) and your browser's local storage to remember your basket on this device. We do not use advertising trackers.
